TRIMMING PABLO is a drama short, steeped in cold war intrigue, telling the extraordinary story of Picasso's visit to Sheffield for the Communist World Peace Congress in 1950.

Starring acclaimed British character actors Paul Freeman (as Picasso) and Jeff Rawle as the local barber who cuts his hair; alongside Marc Berman, Colin Stinton, Prunella Gee and John Joyce in his final film role.

Filmed in stunning black and white by Mike Fox BSC and produced and directed by Tim Newton, 'Trimming Pablo' was the final film script by the reknowned Sheffield dramatist, David Sheasby.
